go to the menu on the left. i added the elementor pro plugin for y'all
so, instead of basic click pro and then drag a flip box into a column
out of the box it looks like the shit on the right
highlight the flip box and go to the flip box control panel on the left.
u have 3 things under CONTENT : front , back, settings. we start with front
remove the icon, the title and description. These should be blank. Once they are click open the BACKGROUND tab. For TYPE D'ARRIERE PLAN chose classic. then insert your chosen image.
where it says Taille - Select cover.
position - centre centre normally works but you can play around and decide. where it says repete choose no repeat.
you will then have something like this on the rtight
lets go to the back of the flip box now.
under title and description put the text u want. don't worry about fonts or anything for now. just put in the desired words. then select background and put in THE SAME IMAGE with the same settings as the front
at the bottom of the control panel u will see something called background overlay. open it and select black.
there are 2 sliders. with the lower one set how much you want the image to fade into black. setting it halfway normally works
to get rid of the annoying flip, which was cliched in 2014 let alone today, scroll down from
Front
Back
and u should come to settings. open it.
where it says FLIP EFFECT select fade
now we can play with the fonts and layout.
At the top of the control panel 3 choices. : content, stle, advanced. choose style
we have nothing to do with the front - so straight to back. play around until you find the fonts and colours u want. for sure look at the typography box options. lots of good stuff there
finish up by returning to the content/settings tab and chose the height for your image
for my 4 in a row i chose 340px. you have to be careful with this. always choose images with plenty of margin on the left and right (person centered images) otherwise on giant screens things fall apart
here i have gone 450px, good for 3 columns
there's a trick u can do if you have selected the image cleverly.
you set the front background image centre-centre
and the back background image centre-gauche or centre-droit
but maybe you learn to walk and we run later
once u are happy with your layout copy paste to the format you want. then simply set Front and Back background images for the different peeps and change the info appropiately
